1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the ALDRIN REMODELING mobile application operated for ALDRIN REMODELING LLC. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@aldrinremodeling.online. This email address is provided only as the privacy contact.
2. Information users enter
The consultation form contains the following required fields:
- Full name — required. Used to identify the locally saved consultation record.
- Phone number — required. Used to preserve the contact number the user chooses to include in the local record.
- Email address — required. Used to preserve the contact email the user chooses to include in the local record.
- Project type — required. Used to identify the remodeling service or area of interest.
The consultation form also contains these optional fields:
- Preferred timeline — optional. Used to record the user’s intended planning timeframe.
- Budget range — optional. Used to record the user’s self-selected planning range. It is not a quote or payment record.
- Property type — optional. Used to add property context to the local request.
- City or area — optional. Used to add general project-area context. The app does not obtain precise device location.
- Project details or notes — optional. Used to record goals, rooms, priorities, questions, or other information the user chooses to type.
When the user attaches a project planner, the app also stores:
- Selected service categories — the remodeling services selected by the user.
- Selected planning-scope names — the scope level selected for each service.
- Quantities — the number of each selected planner entry.
3. Other locally saved information
The app stores favorite service and inspiration identifiers, project-planner entries, onboarding-completion status, and local consultation-request history. A locally generated request identifier and creation date/time are saved with each consultation record so the app can display and manage the record.
4. Purpose of processing
The information above is used only to provide the implemented app functions: organizing a local project brief, reopening planner selections, displaying favorites, validating consultation fields, showing local request history, and allowing users to review, duplicate, or delete locally saved records.
5. Local storage and transmission
User-entered information, favorites, planner entries, onboarding status, and local request history are stored in Android SharedPreferences on the user’s device.
The app has no business backend, cloud database, Firebase integration, authentication system, or user-account system. Saving consultation details does not transmit them to ALDRIN REMODELING LLC, the privacy contact, a developer, a contractor, or an external business server. Any wording such as “saved,” “request details saved,” or “in process on this device” describes a local app/device status only and is not a business acceptance, confirmation, quote, booking, or contract.
6. Internet access and third-party image loading
The app declares internet access to load credited remodeling reference photographs from the Unsplash image service. When an image is requested, that provider may receive normal network information such as the device IP address, request time, and technical request data. The app does not use this connection to upload consultation records, planner data, favorites, or other locally stored personal information.
7. External email and browser applications
The Contact Us screen opens an installed email application only after the user taps the email action. The app pre-addresses the privacy/support email and a subject line, but it does not send an email itself. Any message is composed and sent through the user’s chosen email application under that application’s terms and privacy practices.
Tapping a photograph credit may open the relevant public source page in an installed browser. The app does not control data handling by the external email application, browser, or linked image provider.
External email, browser, WhatsApp, SMS, or sharing applications are not used to submit consultation details or transactional records.
8. Retention
Locally saved consultation records remain until the user deletes an individual record, uses the in-app clear-data control, clears the app’s storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Planner entries remain until the user removes an entry, clears the planner, uses the clear-data control, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Favorites remain until removed, cleared, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. The in-app clear personal data action removes saved requests, planner items, and favorites; the onboarding-completion setting remains so the welcome screen is not forced again.
9. Deletion and user choices
Users can:
- Delete individual locally saved consultation records.
- Clear the complete project planner.
- Remove individual favorites.
- Use “Clear saved personal data” in the in-app Privacy Policy screen to remove saved requests, planner items, and favorites.
- Clear app storage in Android settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from the device.
10. Automatically collected information
The app does not operate analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting, or remote-configuration SDKs. It does not automatically collect account, payment, precise location, camera, microphone, contact-list, media-library, or notification data. Normal network request information may be processed by the third-party image provider as described above.
11. Permissions and device features
The app requests only internet access for loading credited reference photographs. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, media or storage, or notification permissions.
12. Services not used
The app does not use backend servers for consultation submission, Firebase, analytics, advertising SDKs, authentication, user accounts, payment systems, live tracking, device location, camera, microphone, media access, or push notifications.
13. Payments and sensitive data
The app does not process payments. It does not request or store passwords, authentication tokens, full card numbers, CVV or CVC security codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials, raw payment credentials, government identity documents, or biometric information.
14. Data sharing
The app does not sell personal information and does not share locally stored consultation records, planner details, favorites, or request history with advertisers or business servers. Network information involved in loading images may be processed by the external image provider, and information the user intentionally enters into an external email application or browser is handled by that external application or service.
15. Security limitations
The app uses Android’s private application storage for SharedPreferences. However, no storage method or device is completely secure. Users should protect their device with appropriate security controls and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in optional notes.
16. Children’s privacy
The app is designed for homeowners and people planning remodeling projects. It is not directed to children and is not intended to knowingly collect information from children. The device owner controls the creation and deletion of local records.
17. Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated if the app adds or changes fields, storage, permissions, image providers, backend services, analytics, advertising, authentication, payments, accounts, or other data-handling functionality. The effective date will be revised when the policy changes.
